LEGOLAND, FLORIDA

                                                   WELCOME TO LEGOLAND
WHERE KID CAN BE A KID.  WHERE ADULT CAN'T BE ADULT.

Being station in Florida is a privilege. Florida is a sunshine state that has so much leisure the family can enjoy. As we are currently living in the area where Legoland and major amusement Parks are less than an hour drive away, We can visit whenever we can. Legoland is my Family's favorite park to visit, Specially to my son who is in Autism spectrum and building Legos is part of his daily activity to do.
Legoland is heaven on earth to my
Son  who love and build Legos. He doesn't mind the crowd's noise and the ride's wait. He treasured every  of our visits. His favorite area is the Mini Land. We always take our time to check out this part of the park. Our August visit , My kids decided to stay at Legoland Beach Retreat.

According to them, it looks fun and they are excited to sleep in one of their rooms. There is no regret when we got in our room. It is clean and the size is decent. My kids shouted "Everything is Awesome" when I ask about the interior decorations.

My 4 year old is very excited about the double deck bed. And of course the birthday cake and the card she got. She was the happiest Birthday Girl that day.

It is priceless. If I can do it for them every day, I would. After our dinner in one of the Beach Retreat Restaurant, which is by the way, very neat with an area where the kids can play while waiting for our food, We went to the small area by the swimming pool for smores. It is  my Kids first time and they love it. We will definitely, do it again. The swimming pool is huge and has a beachy touch and big Lego blocks floating available for kids to play. Our Legoland Videos available to watch here http://youtu.be/F6Kmqa7tJuE Thank you.

While waiting for rides, My kids didn't go bored is because there is a little area where there is Lego blocks available to build. Tips for cooling, bring hat, mini fan and or water spray bottle. Snacks is also a must. Come early to avoid long lines for rides.

The "fast track pass" with additional payment is available. If you have a child with Autism you can get a ’Show consideration’ wristband. Go to Information Center and ask the Form for  ''show consideration wristband''. I haven't use it because I know my son have no problem in lining up and waiting. Children with Autism are different and as a Parents or Guardians, we know best the capability of our Special needs Child So, Call Legoland costumer service for more information ahead of time.

If you are in the Military, Get your tickets at ITT that is usually located at BX building  in Military bases to get a discounted admission tickets. Active duty is free. When you decided to book at Legoland Resorts or Legoland Beach Retreat, Don't forget to ask for Military Discount. Legoland is giving Military family a 10% discount.
Before you leave the room, make sure to bring your ID. Have a Blast!

Filipino Christmas

YAY! It's BER month, It means day 1 of Christmas begins. In the Philippines, We put up our Christmas trees as soon as the month of BER starts.
.
Fruit Christmas Tree
Christmas is the best time of the year to Filipino people. The best memory as a child is when we go Caroling. We go to people's houses and sing Christmas songs in exchange of gifts. Gifts can be money or crops. Some groups do Caroling for personal reasons and or for a cause. Its a fun tradition that I always cherish and hoping my children that grow up in America will experience Caroling someday.

Every household decorates Christmas tree big or small, simple or grand (bongga!). Back in old days, we don't judge what kind of Christmas tree and how you decorate it. It's all beautiful. It's all fabulous.

When I see Christmas tree it made my eyes twinkle when the light comes on, I could stare it all night long when I move to the City where there is electricity. The streets is so gorgeous with beautiful Christmas Lanterns (Parol) every corner of the street. Parol is a star shape that is beautifully decorated by crafty talented Filipinos.

Of course, Filipino Christmas time is all about food.
Filipino Food
Filipinos will do their best to have food on the table for the family to share during Noche Buena even if it is small as long as they have something to share with. Some family are lucky enough to have a table abundant with food. My experience belongs to the table that has limited food but the fun is unlimited. We don't have that much but I never complain or compare to the household that is abundant it's because the spirit of Christmas overpowered by what you put on the table. The small food we shared is enough and bring joy to each of us.

Bring the spirit of Christmas into your home however you want to be. Simply or abundantly as long as it makes your family happy. Merry Christmas!
